Reflecting on the end of 2022, The Cultivist closed out the year with celebrations across four of our premier destinations, providing members with a joyous conclusion to an eventful year.

In our most popular destination, New York, we gathered at the Guggenheim for a private tour of Nick Cave's Forothermore exhibition. In addition to our tour, members used Cave's colourful textile designs as inspiration to create neat holiday ornaments to take home and decorate with.

London's holiday party occurred in a more social setting as the members gathered for an art quiz. The members' club Laylow hosted us for an festive event, where we quizzed members on major art world happenings from throughout the year.

One member in attendance for our Los Angeles event applauded the level of attention afforded to our West Coast event. The hats included in our year-end gift package were also a source of compliments. An intimate dinner party was set in the studio of Los Angeles-born and based artist Eddie Aparicio. Aparicio's large rubber tree peels, hung like tapestries, provided adequate visual stimulation in addition to the elaborate family-style dinner and Dobel tequila pairings prepared on-site.

In Brussels, work by Cindy Sherman, Andy Warhol, Melik Ohanian, Peter Lindbergh and Anna Bella Geiger, among others, graced the eyes of our Belgium members who congregated at another members' club, the Merode. The Merode's exhibitions present works of emerging and established artists, carefully selected in collaboration with various well-known international galleries based in Belgium and renowned international collectors who have taken up residence in Belgium.

Our four holiday parties, all taking place within five days of each other, summed up the comprehensive event planning carried out by our programming team, and the extent to which our members enjoy the exclusive encounters.
