Exploring the world of art has never been more accessible, with numerous museums across the United States offering free general access.

In Missouri, the Kemper Museum of Contemporary Art in Kansas City is known for its dynamic exhibitions. The museum annually presents eight to ten exhibitions and significant projects, focusing on emerging, mid-career artists and artists from historically excluded groups.

While in Texas, the Menil Collection in Houston is a must-visit cultural hub, with the main gallery building surrounded by four additional museum buildings: the Menil Drawing Institute, Cy Twombly Gallery, Richmond Hall, and the Byzantine Fresco Chapel.

Heading to the East Coast, the Drawing Center in New York City embodies the experimental spirit and devotion to a broad definition of drawing. Meanwhile, the Smithsonian American Art Museum in Washington, DC, invites visitors to delve into American art and inspire reflection.

Further west, the ICA Los Angeles and the Hammer Museum in California open their doors for everyone to see the art and artists who challenge us to see the world in a new light.
