Enthusiast Private Hours at Blockbuster Exhibitions
18 Sep 2023Our new programme for Enthusiast members includes exclusive Private Hour events that allow members to see the most popular museum exhibitions without the large crowds accompanying them, complete with an exhibition introduction from an art expert at the museum.
Among our previously held events were Private Hours at Basquiat: King Pleasure in LA, Thierry Mugler's Brooklyn Museum retrospective, The Brant Foundation in New York City for a solo exhibition of over 100 artworks by Andy Warhol, and most recently, LA's first comprehensive museum presentation of Keith Haring's work at the Broad. Read on for our upcoming events—We look forward to sharing new art experiences with you!
New York in November | Judy Chicago at New Museum
We'll witness sixty years of Judy Chicago's art at our Private evening Hour in New York. Herstory encompasses the full breadth of the artist's contributions across painting, sculpture, installation, drawing, textiles, photography, stained glass, needlework and printmaking. This exhibition expands the boundaries of a traditional museum survey by integrating pivotal works from other women artists.
Chicago in December | Faith Ringgold at MCA Chicago
Our next event will be a morning hour at MCA Chicago. American People will span over fifty years of Faith Ringgold's work, from pivotal artworks of the civil rights era to story quilts that challenge hierarchies of art versus craft. Her oeuvre masterfully explores the many facets of the American experience.
LA and Houston in Early 2024
We will return to LA in the upcoming year when the Ed Ruscha retrospective makes its move to the Los Angeles County Museum of Art. 2024 will also see the debut of our Enthusiast programme in South Texas, where we will host a private hour at the acclaimed Kehinde Wiley show, "An Archaeology of Silence," at the Museum of Fine Arts, Houston.
Our Private Hour programme is exclusively for our Enthusiast Members. Find out more about membership here.
