Three of our New York Art Week events, a tour of Cecily Brown at the MET and an early private viewing of Yayoi Kusama at David Zwirner are already in the books.

Also scheduled for this eventful month is a curator-led tour of Frieze New York, and of course, our annual cocktail party in celebration of art week, hosted in partnership with Dobel Tequila, with additional support from Arkive. 

During our party, titled The Art of Dreaming, we will witness the intertwining of art and fantasy during a magical night where we will immerse ourselves in artworks that inspire and excite.

Our on-site art activation will be the Living Candelabras by Flambeaux, a mesmerizing installation for our dream-themed fête. Each candelabra is built directly onto the human form, draped in melted wax, lace and pearls, offering a unique and immersive art experience. 

Guests will also witness the visionary world of Yvette Molina, a Mexican-American artist who explores the relationship between justice and caring in her ethereal creations.

Working with a masterful fusion of processional banners, ritual, storytelling, costumes, action figures, collage, and painting, guests will engage with a reconception of Yvette's mystical Big Bang Votive project, which invites people to share a personal desire. Each dream is then memorialized by having participants paint a star onto her Storycatcher, a nine-foot square of silk dyed in the deep blues of a night sky. These stories contribute to an expanding constellation of our collective joy and love.

Complete with specialty Dobel Tequila cocktails that pay homage to legendary creatives, our annual party will memorialize this special moment in the art calendar.
