A Private Look at Abraham Ángel at the DMA

18 Oct 2023 A Private Look at Abraham Ángel at the DMA

Now open at the Dallas Museum of Art, Abraham Ángel: Between Wonder and Seduction presents nearly all the artist's known surviving works and introduces U.S. audiences to this legendary artist with the first major survey of his work in over 35 years. During his short career, Ángel developed a unique artistic style that captured Mexico's rapidly changing society and culture in the early 20th century. Despite his work sometimes being overshadowed by his tragic death, Ángel's compelling paintings cemented his status as a pivotal figure in the history of modern Mexican art. This exhibition is on view until 28 January 2024.

This month, our Club-level members will get a chance to attend a special evening at the museum in celebration of the exhibition. Presented in partnership with Maestro Dobel Tequila and UOVO Fine Art Storage, members will enjoy an in-depth, after-hours tour of the exhibition followed by cocktails exclusively for the Cultivist.
