Artist Edition: "All Occurs Within Me" by Bunmi Agusto

All Occurs Within Me (2022) is a mixed-media collage made using pastel pencils on sandpaper and coloured pencils and ink on paper. It is part of a series in which Agusto narrates the cross-reality migration of humans from her waking life to the paracosm in her mind. In this self-portrait, the artist's body morphs into the braided terrain of her psycho-spatial world. An indigenous hybrid waits at the centre, anticipating the crossing of two humans lost in the labyrinth.
